With a fresh load of funds, the forex/ forex prepaid card will be activated automatically. However, if your forex prepaid card from ICICI Bank is inactive or temporarily blocked, please call our customer care to get it reactivated.

I am unable to withdraw funds from the ATM using my forex/ forex prepaid card. What should I do?

If you are unable to withdraw funds from the ATM using your forex/ forex prepaid card, kindly follow these steps:

Check the balance in the card for confirmation on whether there's sufficient balance to withdraw the amount that you need.
If there is sufficient balance, check that you are not exceeding the daily withdrawal limits. The limits include ATM withdrawal charges as well.
If it is within the limit and you are still unable to withdraw cash using an active forex/ forex prepaid card, please call our customer care for further assistance.

What is the limit for cash withdrawals from ATMs using my forex/ forex prepaid card?

The daily limit for cash withdrawals is $2,000 or its equivalent in any other currency. This limit includes withdrawal charges and taxes, unless otherwise specified.

Can I retain the foreign exchange on my ICICI Bank Forex Prepaid Card after returning to India?

You can retain the residual balance in the card only if it is less than $2,000. Refunds have to be claimed within 180 days from your date of arrival (as per RBI regulations).
